Pass Plus is a voluntary scheme that offers benefits to.
Newly qualified car drivers - safer driving and discounted insurance
Instructors - opportunity to help newly qualified drivers develop their skills and knowledge.
Insurers - fewer claims and less expenditure.
The general public - safer roads.
The Modules are there to cover key elements of driving and will be a minimum of 6 hours training.
This covers.:-
- Introduction
- Town Driving
- All weather driving
- Out of town driving & rural roads
- Night driving
- Dual carriageways
- Motorways
At the end of the course and you have reached a satisfactory standard {there is no test to take} you will receive a certificate that is recognised by many insurance companies and they then offer a considerable discount to your insurance premium. That continues through your early years of accident free driving.
The cost of the PassPlus course is £150.00 dependant on achieving a competent standard. Any addition training will be charged at normal lesson rate. |
